Golden Care Solutions is a counseling center, committed to assisting individuals and their family's cope with ails of stress, addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety and other life stressors. Meet our team of Therapist, Counselors, and Support Staff:


Stacha Burgess MA, LPC received her undergraduate instruction at Charleston Southern University triple majoring in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice. She went on to earn her Master's Degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling and is now Licensed to practice Psychotherapy in the state of South Carolina. Stacha understands mental and emotional issues and how these problems impact self-worth, your family, your work/school performance, and your relationships.  Stacha has worked with children, adolescents, adults and their families for twelve years. She began in the counseling field as a Mental Health Tech at an all boys residential treatment facility, went on to become a social worker, and finally a mental health therapist at various state agencies. In these roles she gained a wealth of knowledge about the concepts and applications of  identifying needs, using evidence based practices to promote positive thinking and behavioral change, treatment planning, and treating the family as a whole not just the individual. Stacha is committed to outcomes and is a stickler for implementing measurable goals, assessing progress, and using interventions such as Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Traci  L. Thompson-Bryant is a native of Charleston, South Carolina. Traci received an Associates in Human Services from Trident Technical College, a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Springfield College, and finally a Master of Arts degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. Traci is an authorized facilitator for Darkness to Light bringing about awareness of child sexual abuse. Traci has facilitated groups for registered sex offenders, and she has served as parent educator for a local organization. Traci has also facilitated groups for women who are victims of Criminal Domestic Violence. Traci believes that everyone has a purpose in life but sometimes we may lose sight of purpose because of life circumstances. When this happens, help is always available. Meet Traci!
