Counseling Services: Therapy and/or counseling are types of treatment to improve your mental well-being. These treatments can help people who are experiencing emotional or behavior problems, or people who have a mental health disorder. Therapy is also sometimes called psychotherapy. Counseling and/or therapy services offered include:

  • Individual Counseling/Therapy
  • Family Counseling

Marriage Coaching/ Relationship Coaching: Coaching is similar to counseling but has marked differences. Counseling focuses on the past and causes of emotional disturbance. Relationship Coaching focuses on the present and teaches immediate strategies to promote positive behavior change in your relationship.

Assessment and Testing Services Offered: We offer a variety of assessments/evaluations/tests for different patient, client, defendant and offender groups. Each of these tests is empirically- (research) based and facilitates "assessment driven treatment." We believe it is important to identify problems and their severity before formulating treatment plans. Moreover, each of these tests has a built-in Truthfulness Scale that determines how truthful the client was when tested. These tests are also HIPAA compliant and ASAM compatible. Assessments offered include:

  • Parenting Assessment: Our parenting assessment is evidenced-based and is an inventory designed to assess the parenting and child rearing attitudes of adolescents and adult parent and pre-parent populations. Based on the known parenting and child rearing behaviors of abusive parents, responses to the inventory provide an index of risk for practicing behaviors known to be attributable to child abuse and neglect.

  • Anger Management Assessment: This assessment is evidenced-based. The evaluation is an anger, or more specifically "anger management," screening instrument, or test. This assessment instrument or test makes "anger" screening possible for courts, probation departments, counseling programs and mental health professionals.

  • Domestic Violence (DV) Assessment: The DV Inventory is evidenced based and is used in courts, probation departments, community corrections, clinics, treatment programs, etc. This test is appropriate for both misdemeanor and felony cases. The DV Inventory evaluates violence (lethality) potential, assesses control issues, quantifies substance (alcohol and other drugs) abuse and measures stress handling abilities.

Group or Individual Intervention Services Offered: Intervention services include either one-on-one  or group education surrounding common social problems. These social problems often precipitate courts, probation departments, or social services involvement. In many cases, an individual may be asked to complete some of the following services that are offered here. These include:

  • Parenting Class
  • Anger Management Class
  • Domestic Violence- Offender
  • Domestic Violence- Victim
